Why are the login and password fields yellow in Chrome?

Weird, isn't it!

Unfortunately, the Chrome browser is doing this without our instruction or blessing.

Chrome uses yellow to indicate "autofill" and it triggers when Chrome thinks it's being smart by auto-filling content for you.

The challenge is that Chrome makes this decision on your behalf and over-rules the styling we've coded for the page.

We play a game of cat and mouse with Chrome, where we put a workaround in the code, and then Chrome puts a patch in that prevents the workaround from working.

Since auto-fill is handy, we don't recommend turning it off. We'll continue to look for a long-term solution but until then, yellow it is.
