Password requirements for Yarno

You're about to start quizzing with Yarno, but the password you're trying to set is not letting you proceed. Or maybe you're trying to reset a password and the system isn't letting you do this. Let's look at why. 

To help keep your Yarno account secure, there are a number of password requirements to follow. Our system will let you know if you are not able to proceed with the specific password you are trying to use. Here are some requirements to keep in mind: 

Length

Passwords must be minimum 8 characters in length. 

Password history

This will be relevant to those attempting to reset their password. You will not be able to reset your password to any of the previous 3 passwords which you have used for Yarno. 

Password Dictionary

Yarno does not allow passwords that are part of the Password Dictionary, an online list of the 10,000 most common passwords. Click here to see the list.

Personal data

You will not be allowed to set a password which contains part of your personal data. For example, you will not be able to set a password which contains your first name, username, part of your email address and so on.
